my 1st travelouge

It was evening when prashanth rang me.He proposed a bike trip in 2 days from ghaziabad to alwar.Firstly I resisted to that foolish idea.Hitting roads on bike and that too in rajasthan afternoons where mercury soars upto 40plus was no less then a crazy idea.I lives here in lucknow and firstly I would have to be there in ghaziabad with prashanth.I told him that nothing is fixed but hopefully I will join him. Then I booked my ticket in sleeper in lucknow mail.I thought what should I do?and after mulling a lot on this , finally decided to do and hopped on lucknow mail.In train I was pondering about the hecticness of my trip. But this trip bug was in memory for a long span and road trip on a bike was like a dream so I told myself " let it happen".
Next morning I was there in ghaziabad and in next few mins. in prashanth's apartment. It was 9:30 in morning and sunny boy had started shining. It was our very first trip so we were excited as well as little bit scared about unknown ramifications .We parked our pulsar at a temple and after taking some dose of bhagwan ji's blessings , started our alwar-sariska odyssey.
It was great rush there on delhi roads and heat started showing its character. After a long hassale in capital we reached gurgaon. When I saw those marvellous buildings I thought hope I would have been salaried here. After clearing gurgaon expressway we asked the people about route and then headed towards dharuhera. After manesar aravali was visible and after about 2 hrs. we were at dharuhera.
From there we took the left turn and swapped our position, me who was more then happy being pillion now had to clutched the handlebar of pulsar.Heat was good enough now to cause dehydration so after clearing dharuhera we stopped at a restaurent to fuel ourselves.Till bhiwandi hills were very far and very less but as we moved more distances they became more frequent. After crossing bhiwandi our next stop was kishangarh. Now the gust of hot winds were trying to infiltrate into my nostrills while riding. But you know what , even getting screwed up by scorching summer possess some secial pleasure. We took rest on regular intervals to consume more water.Once in kishangarh prashant's nose started little bit blooding. But it was not that serious.Riding bike on those roads was a memorable experience where roads were empty and humans were bare minimum.Prashanth once throttled bike upto 90's but being a futtoo kind of guyI reved it only upto 70.
Now aravli hills were clearly visible , they seems to embrace us on our arrival in rajputana land.Far villages , hills , scenic beauty and rising mercury of around 40 was telling us that you gonna really miss me.We stopped our bike and did the most important thing , capturing the scenic beauty there.Alwar was not far now and finally around 3:00 we reached there.
After reaching there we asked some people there about what are tourist places , where to stay and one idiot misguided us and even after riding for 15 mins. we could not find any hotels.I do'nt know what was cooking in prashanth's mind but he just rode the bike , I was yelling where we are going man, ask some people here. But I guess some spritual power was riding his mind and after about one hour we saw the board "SARISKA NATIONAL PARK".
Now we were very very tired it was about 4PM.We checked in there at TIGER DEN hotel of RTDC.When the clerk asked us for cash , I checked my wallet and it was very few cash there and prashant was also no different then me.We again started the ignition and headed to thana ghazi which was again 10 km. far.During this ride I enjoyed a lot some rabbits , deers were on the way.It was all jungle raj there. After giving the cash to clerk we rested our butts who were abusing us like hell. ;)
We planned that next day we will visit sariska. After consuming hot tea we slept for some time and then awarded ourselves with king of good times.Beer really gave us mental and physical peace.Next day we woke up early. No AC or cooling system can match the pleasure of mornings in jungle. We booked one gypsy for us and then entered in sariska national park.We enjoyed there for around 3 hrs. It was a great feeling there to roam in jungle with gypsy. We witnessed saambhar , cheetal , peacocks ,monitor lizzards there and watching dancing peacock was no less then a treat at TAJ.
It was around 12:30 AM in clock. The gypsy guy advised us to visit siliserh lake and palace. We had our belated breakfast and started riding back to alwar.Siliserh lake was beautiful. In the lap of many hills it was giving a feel of naini lake at nainital. We saw a board there that crocodiles also visit this beautiful lake and heat was also on alarming note.So we gave up the idea of boating and started our journey back to ghaziabad. On way back also we stopped at kishangarh , tijara, dharuhera and delhi. Finally at around 8:30 pm we returned back to our room when my favourite rajasthan royals was being massacred by mighty mumbai indians.I was now so tired that I left the idea to join office next day in lucknow. So I cancelled my returning ticket and asked to boss for holiday and being a government employee it was also not that uphill task for me.
I was dreaming for a jourey like this for a long while and after doing that I really felt great and satisfied. Finally I would like to thank all the readers who keep patience to read a naive blog.It is my first blog even english is not that great. So all suggestions as well as complaints are welcome :D
